Mr. Quality

Driving home after church today I found myself behind an angular and ancient sedan. Its driver, as I could see because it had no headrests, was a white-haired man. The plastic frame around his license plate said "Ballroom." Carefully centered on the bumper was a plain, black-and-white, all-caps sticker reading thus:

MEN OF QUALITY
DO NOT FEAR
WOMEN OF EQUALITY

So did his wife affix the sticker as a compliment, or is he looking for a dance partner?
