Angels are partying

When I was in Oxford, I wrote about meeting a graduate philosophy student at a Bible study. He "is reading the Bible, learning Greek, reading Lewis and Piper, asks dozens of questions and answers most of them himself, and still isn’t quite convinced that Christianity is true," I wrote (at the end of this post). But tonight I got an email from a friend with great news: that student has become a Christian. I may never see him again on earth, but I'll greet him in Heaven!

And the rejoicing in heaven is echoed on both sides of the Atlantic! Thanks be to God for His great mercy! :-)

Hi Laura! How lovely to "hear your voice," so to speak :-)

The comments seem to be coming through now. I'm not sure why they weren't before... I can't pretend to understand the intricacies of Blogger.

::hopefully:: Poem?

And we missed you last night. I hope that means you were at an awesome party. :-)

I missed you too! But I was at a cool party, thrown by my big little brother, who's proud of being taller than I, and who has some awesome friends.

And poetry... thank you for asking. I miss it too. I'm hoping to come back to it soon...
